A Thursday committee meeting at the Edd Mankle home outlined plans for World Day of Prayer activities to be held at the Methodist Church on February. Community members attended and church hosts for related events were named along with other local social gatherings and visits.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Freeman and Danny included Mr. and Mrs. Glen Benskin and family from Red Oak Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Harland Freeman and Buddy visited Sunday with their daughter and her family in Red Oak, Roger McAllister and family.
