Taylor County approves 15000 Funding Bonds sale and issue
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors, meeting January 23 1939 in Bedford Iowa, authorizes the issuance of Fifteen Thousand Dollar Funding Bonds to fund outstanding warrants. Bids were received from Des Moines firms and White-Phillips of Davenport secured the sale at 1.75 percent. The bonds will be dated January 2 1939 and payable by January 1 1944 through 1947 with semiannual interest.

Taylor County Iowa Board of Supervisors approves a 15000 dollar funding bond with 133 percent interest to be issued January 2 1939 and sets a land fund levy to cover interest and principal.
