Margie Kendrick leads the school in the declamatory contest with Pauline Easter the previous year's runner up. Seven of eleven pupils advance to further contests with Gravity Carbondale Nodaway and other schools as first place winners head to state con tests in March. Second place delegates will enter Little Seven Conference preliminaries February 13 at College Springs, with finals February 20 at New Market.
