Mrs Etta Malcolm hosted a Shenandoah area family reunion and dinner on Sunday December 17 with several families present. A birthday party for Richard Thomas was held with ten children. The Twentieth Century Club shared a Christmas dinner in Clarinda, followed by a gift exchange. A large Fellowship meeting at the Methodist church featured Earl Ferguson speaking on delinquency in the home, plus a program. The Married Peoples Bridge Club and other gatherings with guests and prizes were noted. Nellie Carmichael hosted a Sunday family reunion dinner. Mrs. Mary McCullom died Monday at her son Charles McCullom’s home in Sheridan aged 82. Widow of Civil War veteran John McCullom she was a gold star mother after son Ira was killed in World War I. Funeral at Sheridan Methodist Church, Rev. C Pritchard officiated, burial at Isadora. Survived by sons Clarence Clearmont and Charles Sheridan. daughters Lola Wymore Henessey Oklahoma Dollie Court er Gallatin and Anna McCullom Kansas City.
