Funeral services were held at Arnold funeral home for Joseph Gilbreath father of Mrs. Mary Sweeley after a several weeks illness. The body went to Adel for services at the Christian church and burial in Oakdale cemetery. Reverend E. F. Hagee conducted the rites.
