The John Moore home in Gravity hosted a Golden Wedding Anniversary Sunday November 26 with relatives and friends gathering for a noon dinner. The couple married November 28 1894 at Dorming Catholic Church and were joined by five of seven children including guests from Kansas City Corning and Villisca. An open house featured a three tier wedding cake golden favors and chrysanthemums amid a festive, workday friendly atmosphere.
