Allen J. Thompson Taylor County Auditor posts notice of a hearing in the Board of Supervisors' room at the Court House in Bedford in Taylor County on April 10 1967 at 10:00 a.m. Citizens are advised to govern themselves accordingly.
The Iowa Commerce Commission publishes a petition by the City of Bedford to construct operate and locate a 15.58 mile 3 inch natural gas pipeline across Taylor County with possible eminent domain rights. A hearing is set for April 25 1967 in Des Moines with objections due five days prior.
Notice of Sheriff's Sale by virtue of a special execution issued under a judgment where Interstate Securities Company is plaintiff and Loyd J. Long and Viola L. Long are defendants. The judgment, obtained in the District Court of Iowa for Taylor County, is for 18,520.20 dollars plus interest and costs. The sheriff has levied on and will sell at public auction the described real estate.
The South 219 acres of the West half of section 17 and the North half of the Northwest Quarter of section 20, township 68 north range 34 west, Taylor County Iowa, to be sold to the highest bidder in cash on April 12 1967 at 10:00 AM at the south door of the courthouse in Bedford Iowa. Actions to set aside the will must be filed within one year from the second publication. Creditors to file claims with the district court clerk within six months from the second publication.
