100-Pound Buck Treed After Chasing Child in Natrona
In Pittsburgh on December 8 a wounded 100-pound buck deer with budding antlers treed 14 year old Jay Heck for about a half hour behind his Natrona home. Jay and his dogs disturbed the animal which fled then charged him. He climbed a tree while his father called state police. Officers ultimately killed the deer.
