He will remain in jurisdiction with father Earl Conrad allowed reasonable visitation and Sunday school attendance. Costs of the proceeding were charged to the father who now pays support.

The Hyndman Lions announce a busy Christmas season with a Dec 13 tree sale at the Firemen's Quonset Hut, staffed daily by Lions to fund club activities. A Dec 22 kiddy party at May's Theatre features a morning high school show and an afternoon children’s program with Santa treats. Santa will deliver Christmas baskets with the Lions’ choir, while prizes honor best outside lights and shop window displays, judged Christmas night. Scouts At Bi County Meeting In Saxton Dinner Held
Scouters of the Southern Blair District met in Saxton on November 93rd for a regular dinner meeting served by Scout Mothers and Trinity Reform Church ladies. Rev Stenger led the invocation and singing with Scout Executive John Rhodes at the piano. New officers were elected: Doyle Grace president and Robert L Williams vice president. Plans for January meeting in Williamsburg were announced.

Eureka Grange No. 607 of New Paris last week approved a petition to United Telephone Company Harrisburg for improved service within ~15 miles, 420 subscribers, 31 circuits, one exchange, two trunk lines from Fisher town to Bedford. The petition urges the company to serve as a public servant and requests a definite response, with copies to district manager and county papers.

The Cove Lions club met at the Grange hall in Loysburg for a semi monthly gathering last Wednesday. The Woodbury school performed a program including a duet a monologue a play and songs under the direction of Donald Logue. Proceeds from an upcoming illustrated lecture by Maj.
