Miss Samuelson Seeks State Superintendent Post

Nationally known rural education leader Miss Samuelson of Shenandoah announces candidacy for State Superintendent of Public Instruction at the June primaries. A Page County native, she began teaching in a one room school after Shenandoah High and Western Normal College, rose to county superintendent, and gained national notice for rural school programs. Her Iowa State Teachers College Extension Division work and Phi Beta Kappa honors are noted.
