District Court in session with long docket and case notes
The December term of the district court opened with probate and default matters. Judge H M Towne presided. A divorce was granted to Jacobs and Jacobs for desertion. Trials included State v James Alloway on a forged instrument plea change to guilty and pending sentencing, and State v Bridgeman for intoxication and disturbing the peace. State v Kitty Churchill concerns keeping a house of ill fame. she pleads not guilty. State v A W Fees set for next Monday on libel. State v John King continued for lack of witnesses.
