Britain amended its Middle East peace resolution to appease Russia Iran and Arab states while Arabs vowed to oppose it. Russia and Iran complained the changes did not go far enough as Syria Jordan Egypt and Lebanon heatedly attacked the measure during the Security Council debate. A Logan County man Abraham Phillips pleaded guilty to reckless driving after a Be ckley Telephone Co workman Gene Bazzie was seriously injured in a Tuesday collision on State Route 16 near Mul llen. Phillips, 39, was fined 25 dollars and costs after testifying he was driving 30 mph at the time. Bazzie, 25, suffered multiple pelvic and leg fractures and was listed in fair condition at Wyoming General Hospital.

Boy killed when car backs over him in Hutchinson
