Burglar Attack on McKenzie Home Leaves Loot Missed
On the morning of the 12th, McKenzie of Saisie was burgled. Two men entered via a window, ransacked a sleeping area and stole about $260 from McKenzie's pocketbook. McKenzie fought back, incapacitating one intruder with a blow. The other assailant struck him and fled. the burglars escaped with no further evidence or clues. A bystander report notes three men seen by river and a skiff dropped toward Mer Mexenzie's. McKenzie recovered from injuries. no further leads.
