Remarkable Manassas Patient Receives Bullet Reminder
Crocket Grayson of Manassas Virginia was shot in the head on the first date of Manassas history. The bullet lodged in the ear bone and remained until a physician extracted it by boring to the bone with a trepanning tool. The half ounce lead was clipped out after Grayson stayed calm and even spit tobacco juice before telling the doctor to proceed. He was reported doing well at last accounts.
