Pioneer editor Thos D Webb dies at Warren Ohio age 81

Thos D Webb longtime editor of the Western Reserve Chronicle died in Warren Trumbull County Ohio at eighty one. He moved to Ohio in 1807 and started The Trump of Fame in 1812 later renamed Western Reserve Chronicle. He married Betsey Stanton in 1813 and they lived together fifty one years in the same house. Webb served as collector of Internal duties for the district in 1814 and was twice a member of the Ohio Senate. He once competed with Elisha Whitley for Congress.
