Three stubborn truths about baptism in Acts and Paul
This piece argues that baptism must be immersion for believers, essential for salvation, and not for infants, citing Acts 2 38 Romans 6 4 Colossians 2 12 Mark 16 16 and Peter 1 3 21. It promotes baptism as the antitype that now saves us and urges obedience.

Kath Lift: One Another in Faith and Friendship
Last Sunday a former associate pastor visited St. Andrew's Presbyterian in Houston, reuniting with longtime members and meeting Ted and Gracie Quiocho who shepherd Faith Presbyterian One Another Missions in Costa Rica. The couple, with two teenage daughters, plans a 1600 square foot mission center on a purchased acre, half for crops and half for ministry, funded by supporters. They focus on Bible study, mentoring, and long term relationships to share Jesus Christ, while the writer recalls baptizing Gracie 30 years ago and officiating at their wedding.
