Foley's on Main Street A Houston Icon Through Time
The author recalls Foley's as a beloved, multifaceted store on Main Street, a downtown Houston icon and Baytown staple. From 1947 openings to Macy’s transition, Foley's served as a self-contained shopping hub, a festive Christmas lure, and a local memory lane tying together childhood trips, theater visits, and family moments with Santa.
