CAPE CANAVERAL FLA AP The sixth TIROS weather satellite blasted into orbit aboard a Thor Delta rocket at 3 35 am heading to monitor hurricanes typhoons and storms globally. NASA announced two hours later the satellite was in a successful low 40 mile orbit marking the sixth straight booster success for the Delta and TIROS programs.
