Green sedan sought in Baytown death of Lillie Dickerson

Deputies search Baytown garages for a two tone green or blue car after the body of Lillie Dickerson is found near Sheldon cafe. Investigators say she walked onto the pavement seconds before being struck and killed, with evidence suggesting she slept near the cafe prior to the fatal hit and run. Shock Fells Boatman Roy Campbell

Roy Campbell, captain of the J. C. Parker Co. crew, was knocked unconscious and severely shocked when an electric sander shorted out while cleaning the boat Gertrude in dry dock at the Cedar Bayou basin. He reached Lillie-Duke hospital conscious and described the accident, saying his boots were wet and the sander was not properly grounded.
