In four spades after West leads diamonds, win the first trick, unblock clubs, and play a low trump toward the dummy queen. If West ducks, you gain by taking the queen and discarding diamonds on the club king. If West wins the third trick and continues diamonds, you can ruff, draw trumps, and concede a heart. If you duck the first trick, West cashes spades and a second spade can doom the contract.
