Chemical releases slow traffic on Chambers roads
Two separate releases within an hour disrupted West Chambers County traffic on Highway 146 and Farm Roads 565 and 1405. A backhoe cut a 3 inch line at Warren Petroleum releasing a small LPG vapor cloud. no evacuation or ignition occurred. A McKay Chemical decomposition release caused smoke and steam but no chemicals were present. roads 565 and 1405 were closed briefly.
