Baytown Athletic Club Eco entries include Beaver Trousdale Mont Belvieu 1971 state 123 pound champ and Mark Mayfield Darrell Skillern Kurt Mannchen Paul Barbee. The Travis Barbell Club Dallas brings strong upper weight classes. Sam Walker SMU shot put champion and former national high school record holder tops that team. Other top teams: Houston Barbell Club and New Orleans YMCA. Events will be press snatch and clean and jerk. Admission 1 for adults 50 cents for students.
