P J Hooks of Crosby has been named an operations foreman in the Thermal Cracking Department at Shell Oil Refinery in Deer Park. He previously worked in Hydroprocessing and held several posts since 1958 including operator No 1 in 1969 and a move to Hydroprocessing in 1970. Honor student James Michael Hayes of La Porte is named to UT business college spring honor roll. Scientists estimate 1000 earthquakes cause damage yearly and 100000 can be felt.

Baytown Approves Use of Unappropriated Revenue Sharing Funds
