38 New Teachers Start at Channelview Schools
Channelview began the 1971 72 term with 38 new teachers and new administrators at Crockett Junior High Channelview High. Joseph B Shelton joins as high school principal aide while Elizabeth Hylton becomes high school counselor. Baytown Man Discovers Body Near Clinton Drive Bar
A Baytown man, Soterias Vionas, 39, found a mutilated body near the Port Terminal Railroad tracks in the 8000 block of Clinton Drive early Saturday at about 4 a.m. He is manager of the nearby Athens Bar and Grill. Houston police say the body appears to be a Mexican national.

Beatrice Dodson of 9514 Highway 146 Mont Belvieu was hospitalized Monday with internal injuries and a head injury in guarded condition. A Galveston woman driving a car struck her about 8 45 p m Sunday on Highway 146 near I 10 while Dodson checked a neighbor child who cut a knee. Baytown Ambulance Service transported her to Dayton Memorial Hospital.

Wreck injures teen rider. driver charged for red light
