Baytown Historic Preservation Association operates the Wooster Common School built in 1894 at Republic of Texas Plaza 5117 North Main. The one room schoolhouse, oldest in Harris County, offers students from Barbers Hill ISD Goose Creek CISD home school groups and others a glimpse of late 1890s to early 1900s education. Docent volunteers will guide tours and explain era life.
