Ganders Face La Porte in 2009 Lid Lifter at Stallworth
Lee Ganders debut under coach Marvin Sedberry Jr at Stallworth Stadium as 2009 opener against La Porte. Sedberry, 31, says the team is anxious and excited to start together for the first time. La Porte features Kendrick Perkins, now with Anthony Webb stepping in, a big running threat Lee must slow. Warren anticipates a physical game and notes Lee must defend the run and the pass from a rushing Bulldogs outfit.
