Labor of Love and the Biblical Call to Work
A sermon-like reflection on Labor Day inspired by Genesis and Colossians. It argues work is divine from creation, notes God rests on the seventh day, and urges evaluating our labors of love to please the Lord. A closing hymn emphasizes faithful labor for the Master until life ends.

Thoughts vs Gods thoughts and biblical contrasts
A reader reflects on how human thoughts diverge from divine will using Elisha Naaman and multiple scripture quotes. The piece contrasts personal beliefs about salvation, baptism, and sin with biblical teaching, urging humility before God’s higher wisdom. See Flowers on page 4B.
