Perry Holds Large Lead in Texas Governor Poll
Zogby International conducted a telephone survey of 1,003 likely voters Oct 23–25 for the Houston Chronicle and KHOU-TV. Perry leads with 38 percent, Bell 22 percent, Strayhorn 21 percent, Friedman 10.5 percent, Werner 1 percent. 54 percent rate Perry’s job as fair or poor.

Chambers County sites include the Courthouse in Anahuac, Cedar Bayou Community Building, West Chamber County Courthouse Annex, and East Chambers County Courthouse Annex, all open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday. Voters should bring a valid ID such as a Texas driver license or passport.
