Driftwood art blooms on Trinity Bay shores
Mrs. Barnett, driftwood artist from Beach City, gathers shaped wood from Trinity Bay beaches to create sanded art pieces. She uses elbow grease and sandpaper to reveal grain and color, coating with sealer or lacquer for outdoor display. The Barnetts, owning Bayview fishing camp, hope the market grows to rival Florida driftwood prices.
