Equity members avert foreclosure as Goose Creek site eyed by developer
Equity members of the former Goose Creek Country Club have raised 997000 to halt foreclosure on the 132.5 acre site and keep it from going to a forced sale. Gromax Development of Pearland is pursuing a 3 million contract that may repay investors and transfer ownership pending due diligence and finalization. Foreclosure had been scheduled for October 7 and the club closed in June after financial struggles.
