Crude futures rise as Gulf Coast market fuels NYMEX gains
New York crude futures advanced on Thursday as Gulf Coast cash market strength lifted NYMEX prices. Light, sweet December crude rose 38 cents to 30.30 a barrel after a session high of 30.80. Brent December settled 35 cents higher at 28.63, with a high of 28.70. November gasoline settled at 83.57 cents a gallon, after peaking at 84.50.
