About 15,000 CenterPoint customers lost power in west Houston as winds reach 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. The coastal counties faced a wind advisory from 10 am to 1 am. Temperatures are forecast to stay in the 60s today, with 66 expected, 68 on Wednesday, and 40s at night, before a rebound to the 70s by Thursday. In district court, two friends testified about abuse patterns as Dr. Lawrence Thompson discussed effects on youth.
