Rosa Johnson a longtime Baytown real estate agent was critically injured when her northbound car collided with a southbound vehicle on Garth Road then was struck by a second southbound car. She was flown to Memorial Hermann where officials say her condition is critical. The first vehicle’s driver was also hospitalized with nonlife threatening injuries. A third car passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to Houston Methodist San Jacinto. Three other passengers were uninjured.

A 37 year old Grapeland woman, Michelle Fiala, allegedly shoplifted at Wal Mart in Baytown, assaulted two employees, then fled in a blue minivan. A multi agency pursuit ended with a crash in Montgomery County and a Taser stop in Porter. She was jailed without bond on robbery with bodily injury and evading arrest charges.
Highlands man Michael Shannon Pentecost, 40, was arrested Sunday on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges after authorities say he rammed a vehicle, injuring his estranged wife and the other driver. Bond set at $30,000. The incident occurred on South Main Street, with Pentecost fleeing in a black Ford Escape.
