The Citizen Task Force on Baytown's Unified Land Development Code nears final recommendations for a new zoning code. The panel, active since January 2009, refined residential zoning, design standards, and density from Single Family Estate to high density while preserving current boat and RV parking rules and pushing HOA guidance for townhomes. The proposal moves to Planning and Zoning, then back to the task force before City Council approval and enactment.
