West Chambers County residents gain option to use town names for mail
Beach City and neighboring towns can use their names in home delivery addresses while seeking a separate ZIP code. Postal Service officials note Baytown and Dayton codes may still be used if preferred, easing address changes but signaling a potential shift toward a full regional ZIP for Mont Belvieu and surrounding areas. Local leaders, including Beach City Mayor Guido Persian, have met with USPS representatives to explore a dedicated ZIP and possibly a post office, with Rep. Ron Paul backing the effort since 2004.
