Pursuit Turns Deadly Near Baytown Intersection
Shawn Williams, a 16 year old Ross S. Sterling High School student, died when the car he rode in was struck by a truck fleeing police after a shoplifting incident. The driver Shannon Joe Chauncey, 43, is jailed without bond for evading arrest in a serious bodily injury case. A Highlands woman in the truck faces charges of evading theft and possession of a controlled substance.
