Chambers County DA indicts deputy over sex abuse case

Pink Heals tour fundraising for Baytown cancer care

The Pink Heals tour, run by firefighters with pink fire trucks, raises funds for cancer treatment in Baytown. Last year the event netted about 18,000 for San Jacinto Methodist Hospital cancer center, aiding uninsured patients, with ExxonMobil as a major sponsor. The ninth annual Pink Rose Survivors Celebration and Balloon Launch runs Friday, 12:30 to 2 pm, at the cancer center, featuring a survivor signing a pink fire truck and home visits to patients.
