Goose Creek CISD seeks waiver for crowded K to 4 classes
The Goose Creek CISD board unanimously votes to request state waivers from the 22:1 September K through fourth grade class size rule. District elementary enrollment is 11,580 with 8,760 students in 440 classes, 27 of which are over the limit. Several schools including Alamo and Banuelos are mentioned with new openings.
