Baytown man sustains gunshot while cleaning handgun
A 23 year old Baytown man shot himself in the upper right thigh Sunday while cleaning a loaded Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol at an East James apartment. Life Flight transported him to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where he was listed in stable condition. Police urged caution to ensure guns are unloaded before cleaning.
