Presleys plan loft apartments on Texas Avenue
Artie Presley and Chris Presley outline a $1.4 million renovation of a long vacant Texas Avenue building into a modern loft style apartment complex with about 35 units. City will invest up to $260,000 in facade improvements backed by MDD funds, plus a $50,000 annual contribution after opening. The project, next to Lee College, aims to reclaim a historic site, preserve the oak tree, and boost local living on Texas Avenue.
