Baytown to receive 830k HUD grant amid funding decline
Congressman Ted Poe announced Baytown will get more than 830000 from HUDs Community Development Block Grant program. City Manager Garry Brumback says the amount is down from about 900000 last year and far below past years totals, limiting homeowner rehab and sidewalk projects while still aiding residents. Poe calls the news great and says the grant will go a long way in helping Baytown residents.
