Bay Theater memories of Baytown childhood years
A nostalgic reminiscence of growing up in East Baytown near the Bay Theater at Market and Wisconsin. The piece recalls neighbors, local shops, and the 1940s street life, including refinery traffic surges at 4 p.m., the transition to Brunson Theater, and Rufus Honeycutt's early management and notable Bay Theater moments.
