Salt Water Leak Realized Near Trinity Bay
Anahuac area officials say a pipe released salt water into the north Trinity Bay instead of gas. Chambers County fire marshal Ryan Holzaepfel confirmed the spill, noting the exact destination of the line remains unknown. Two fishermen reported water-like activity six inches above the river area, later identified as salt water. No sheen or injuries reported as the spill lasted from just before 1 p.m. to at least 5 p.m. when flow stopped.
