Anahuac High School FFA chapter elected new Greenhand officers Leroy Edmonds president James Jenkins vice president James Abshier secretary Jimmy Turner treasurer Wesley Kirkham reporter and Don Nelson sentinel Four officers attended a district officer training at Kounize led by G H Morrison of Sam Houston State College Delegates to the National FFA Convention in Kansas City Missouri October 14 18 will be Monroe Kreuzer Frank Garvey and Kim Turner Kenny Leda was selected for the National FFA Band Bert Harbour will accompany the delegates to the convention The chapter sweetheart finalists are Darlene Miles Peggy Wilborn Peggy McManus Sheila Pennington and Marilyn Henry with winner to be announced soon
