Babin hosts veterans town hall at Lee College
U S Representative Brian Babin will host a Veterans Town Hall at Lee College Rundell Hall on Tuesday October 11 from 6 to 8 p m. The event features experts from the Houston VA office DeBakey Medical Center Texas Veterans Commission and several veterans groups to answer questions on healthcare education benefits discharge status and civilian transition. Baytown Expo awards honor booth Shine Dental and others
The 34th Baytown Business Expo drew hundreds with Halloween theme booths. Shine Dental won Best Booth. Goose Creek DISC and Baytown Parks Recreation were runners-up. First place in Most Original went to Frank's Collision Repair with Cottar Real Estate and Crespo & Jirrell Funeral and Cremation Services as runners-up. Judges included Assistant Police Chief Mike Holden and Assistant City Manager Kevyn Troller. Grand prize winner received a $500 gift card sponsored by ExxonMobil and others. Joseph Norman claimed it at day end.
