Davidson Coach Is Happy Man

Davidson College coach Homer Smith expresses satisfaction with his quarterback and fullback options for the season. Gordon Stade, a 180 pound junior, played last year as a backup and completed a portion of his passes, while fullback Kerry Keith, though 5 feet 16 inches, is viewed as a pro prospect. Keith tied a school record with nine touchdowns last fall and rushed for over 70 yards on a run heavy team.
