Davis Makes Grasp For Offense In Hard-Luck Sterling Loss

He has mostly carried from the backfield with six carries for 15 yards last week, including early gains and backslides before an 11 yard fourth quarter run. Sterling’s passing is only 27 percent. The team relies on handoffs and direct snaps to feed Davis while the line, with several new starters, adjusts. Minyard praises the line as they rush for 162 of 188 yards against Lee. The Rangers aim to rebound at home against Channelview in the second half of district play, needing four wins to reach the playoffs.
