Special Olympians bowl at Max Bowl East in Baytown
About 149 athletes competed in the twelfth annual Special Olympics bowling event at Max Bowl East led by Baytown Women's Bowling Association organizers. Goose Creek athletes—Jeremy Franklin and Clay Schrock—performed strong, while spectators and coaches including Wilma Jean Bishop supported the participants. Brockelman noted lower turnout due to Rita but urged future growth and invited donations or volunteers for next year.
