Baytown Recovers from Rita Heavy Storm Response
Baytown details its emergency plan in action during Hurricane Rita on September 24 2005 with EOC activation 4:45 pm voluntary public evacuation 615 pm and special needs orders. City crews restored water service wells and power and coordinated with GCCISD Harris County SOC NWS and CWA to safeguard residents and industries.
