Funeral directors honored during Texas Funeral Directors Week
Texas marks the first week of October as Funeral Directors Week to honor the profession and raise community awareness. TFDA president Paul Beatty notes the observance informs residents about funeral service roles, while Baytown’s Chris Navarre and Crespo & Jirrell Funeral Services’ Anthony Crespo emphasize the profession’s history and family trust. TFDA, founded in 1886, represents more than 5,000 professionals and offers resources and referrals via www.tfda.com.
